TRADITIONAL WEDDING SUITS
Our traditional men’s wedding suits are designed specifically for stylish and formal wedding themes. Grooms traditionally wear morning suits, with black traditionally a popular choice. We pride ourselves on the tailored fit of our traditional wedding suits, which guarantee a handsome, yet formal look, on your big day.
HEADS OR TAILS
With the rapid change in fashions and trends, and lets face it more style-aware men, the morning suit has been ‘adapted’ in a variety of colours & styles. The move away from tradition has meant that men are able to exercise their sense of style.
Here are a few tips to help you look extra dapper and stamp your own look on your special day:
1 – Take into consideration the time of day you are getting married, you will definitely look like John Travolta’s cousin if you wear a white suit for your evening ceremony. The same can be said for wearing a tuxedo to a midday wedding!
2 – The time of year is also very important; choose warmer colours for a winter wedding. Maybe a burgundy pocket square to set off a sharp navy suit and consider a lighter suit for the summer months… are you brave enough to wear pastels?
3 – The fit (this is integral across the board). Make sure the suit is tailored to you, spend that little bit extra and get your suit altered, the wedding photos/memories will be all the better for it.
4 – Add your own personal touch, how about matching trainers for the groomsmen or a playful bow-tie matching the colour scheme.
5 – Don’t forget the shoes, treat yourself to a new pair and remember… no white socks!!
CHILDREN’S SUITS
Children belong at weddings, who else will slide across the dance floor on their knees on more than one occasion? Our Children’s range allow the perfect blend of styles to match whilst being comfortable throughout.
INVOLVING THE CHILDREN
You’ll need to think about how your child will be throughout the day. For lots of children they are involved in the ceremony so its asked that they wear the correct attire to match the theme. However once the photographs are taken, help them enjoy the day by de-cluttering remaining smart and respectful whilst being able to move about.
Avoid tight-fitting clothes. You can still keep kids stylish with a loose fit. Kids move around a lot, dancing and playing with other children and a little wiggle room is always better. Kids grow fast so there will be more opportunities to wear these clothes.
Leave layers for another time. Kids will need frequent toilet breaks (especially younger children). Layers can be cumbersome and make them hot and irritable.
With shoes, keep it simple, If their feet get sore, don’t be surprised if you find their shoes in a corner.

Weddings at Twycross Zoo
We have a number of beautiful locations which will provide a stunning backdrop for your big day.
Our sensational Windows On The Wild room, which accommodates up to 100 guests and is fully licensed for civil ceremonies, overlooks a natural area of the Zoo and has its own private entrance through the Fisherman’s Shack. Alternatively, other unique locations include the Himalaya Room, with views onto the snow leopard enclosure, or the Gibbon Forest enclosure.
All offer impressive views and the opportunity for eye-catching wedding photography.
Your guests are welcome to explore the Zoo, but why not add an animal encounter with either the giraffes, penguins, meerkats or otters to complete your perfect day?
It goes without saying that your wedding breakfast will complement the beautiful surroundings. Our talented chefs will create a delicious menu for you and your guests using carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients.

With 4 different ceremony rooms to choose from, we can cater from as few guests as you like up to around 180. Our Gallery and Brunel rooms are both modern in style providing a perfect timeless setting, and our magnificent Ballroom and oak panelled Library both offer an elegant and classical background in which to hold your special day. |
Drinks Reception:
Why not choose one of our beautiful rooms or use the outside Terrace to host your celebratory drinks. Your guests can celebrate in style while you take advantage of our fabulous landscaped park for your wedding photographs. We can provide canapes or nibbles along with a full drinks service. |
Wedding Reception:
We can offer the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast, providing a smooth transition for your guests from either your ceremony or drinks reception. We will provide you with our fully licensed bar, iced water for your tables along with all your glassware, table linens and chair covers with your choice of coloured organza sash. We can offer a tailor-made menu to suit your requirements, from a traditional 3 course sit down meal through to canapes, buffets, individual picnic baskets, hog roasts and barbecues. Whatever your needs, we are sure you will find what you are looking for. |
Evening Reception:
To end your special day, we can provide space for dancing and a stage for singers, bands or DJs so you can celebrate in style. Organise your own or speak with our Wedding Coordinators who can offer recommendations to suit. We are also able to provide a number of locally produced ales to add to our fully stocked licensed bar. The Brunel
The former Victorian swimming baths, now a large suite which retains period character, suitable for larger gatherings of up to one hundred and sixty guests for ceremony and one hundred forty for reception.

Combining old and new, this suite features a floor to ceiling window overlooking the park and can accommodate parties of up to sixty guests for ceremony and forty for reception.

Intimate, elegant and steeped in history. This suite is available to you for ceremony and reception for smaller gatherings of up to thirty guests for ceremony and twenty for reception.

The jewel in the crown, this opulent self-contained suite boasts a stunning vaulted ceiling with chandeliers, balcony which overlooks the main room period windows and sumptuous drapes and stage area is available for ceremony and/or wedding breakfast and/or evening reception for up to one hundred and twenty guests for reception.

Our Bars
‘Frenchie’ the Horsebox
‘Frenchie’ is an original Rice Beaufort Horse Trailer. We pulled him out of a field after he had been sat there for 15 years and began the task of restoring him. Unlike many similar restorations, we have tried to keep as much of the original Rice parts on him as possible, to keep him as authentic and close to the day he was made, with our own spin on it obviously!
Following the restoration, we converted him into a bar using reclaimed wood for the bar areas and gave him a unique ‘Steampunk’ paint job, quite unlike any other Horsebox bar out there.
‘Frenchie’ is fully equipped with a triple bar fridge and a full draught dispense cellar, which enables him to pour up to 4 ice cold products from his chrome pipe bridge font.
Stand alone Bars
Our stand alone bar is constructed from reclaimed timbers and is 2.5m in length, or can be extended to 5m in length for bigger events.
Our standalone bar also benefit from our impressive chrome shipping pipe bridge font, which can pour up to 4 ice cold draught products.
Mini Bar
Our mini bar is a 1.5 metre bar on wheels. The mini bar can pour up to 2 ice cold draught products and is available staffed or as dry hire, with or without kegs.
Our mini bar also comes with a 1.5m wheeled back bar, for storing and preparing spirits, wines and other drinks.
Ice cream Tricycle Bar
Our ice cream tricycle bar is a lovingly restored 3 wheeler. The bar benefits from a bar unit which is capable of pouring 1 ice cold draught product through the unique steel shipping pipe font and is available staffed or as dry hire
The Trike bar comes with a free standing ice box for keeping other drinks ice cold

I am an independent event designer based in Derbyshire but also covering areas in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.
I can provide a number of different products to make your special day one to remember. From chair covers to centre pieces from table plans to wedding favours. I am here to make your event spectacular.
Each product is carefully selected to suit your day and you will have constant contact with me in the lead up to your event to leave you feeling stress free and know that I have everything under control.
I offer a bespoke Wedding/Party Planning service. No wedding or party is the same and some people have no idea where to start. So dont worry as my wealth of experience will ensure that your day is stress free and one to remember. I can help from the smallest detail to the most major so fear not I will be on hand to help.
