WEDDINGS

We held our very first wedding at Beeston Fields in 1865, and we are delighted to be able to sharing our Victorian garden for weddings nearly 150 years later.

The Walled Garden is a truly unique wedding venue in Nottingham, with so much scope for a variety of different wedding themes. Anything goes from festoon lights and ceiling drapes to giant chalk boards and garden games.  The marquee is a permanent feature and can accommodate up to 220 guests. Look for the ‘bunny button’ below to download the full brochure with prices and menus. You can use the tailors table at the back of the brochure to build your own wedding based on your own numbers and season/date choices.

Ceremony Options

Outdoor ceremonies have become the most popular choice since we licensed the Loggia in 2017. The weddings take place under the old green house which has been converted and has a back wall lined with rambling roses and steps on the approach with flower beds either side. In spring white tulips line the raised wall and flowers open all through summer in the lowers beds. A table is set for the registrars and seating for 40 on the top section offers a close family and friends area with further seating for up to 110 more guests around the bandstand and lawn.

The House can accommodate small ceremonies in the oak paneled Dining room or larger ceremonies in the main lounge. It has views over the parkland and was recently refurbished in a traditional style with a modern and fresh colour scheme.

Should the English weather decide to mess with your plans for an outdoor ‘i do’ we can also host the vows in the marquee overlooking the garden. The dividing curtains in the marquee allow us to screen your areas with large drapes and dress the middle section for your ceremony. The From here you can over look the lawn and mini maze with the old brick wall in the background. Its the best ‘back up’ plan we’ve ever seen and some couples like it so much they chose this over the outdoor option!

We offer a ceremony only option in the house as an alternative to the registry office. You have the house for 2 hours for drinks and photos after the ceremony and can use the dressing room before. The bar can be open for your guests to have drinks and canapes before heading off.
