Horsley Lodge is a privately owned country house offering you exceptional facilities as a venue for your wedding. The dramatic setting, amazing views and magnificent banqueting suite make it a wonderful location for celebrations and civil ceremonies. Our professional wedding team is here to offer you the expert advice that is so important to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. It’s your day with your choices, whilst it’s our job to translate your ideas into an occasion that will truly make it the wedding of your dreams.

All yours for the day
The lovely Amber Suite at Horsley Lodge is all yours for the day. Most importantly, this means there is no danger of bumping into any other bride as we will only ever look after one wedding at a time. The room will be beautifully dressed for the occasion and your guests will be enchanted by the setting. There’s a self contained reception area as well as space for everyone to spill outside in fine weather, to enjoy their drinks and soak up the lovely scenery. A photographer’s dream location to capture those moments to savour.

Seasonal food, freshly cooked and perfectly served. We will help you with your choices of wine and food based on years of experience of providing the best hospitality to suit all tastes. Throughout the planning, from the first time we meet to saying goodbye when it’s all over, we will check every detail so you can relax in the knowledge that all you have to do is enjoy your perfect day and capture those magical memories to savour forever.
For you and your guests
Horsley Lodge’s fabulous bedrooms offer you and your guests a memorable stay as part of the celebrations. You are invited to stay on your wedding night with our compliments or you can choose to upgrade to a luxury suite or the cottage.
Plus, we offer hens and stags parties too – from champagne vintage tea parties to golfing days and dinner. You’d better tell the chief bridesmaid and best man!
Every wedding at Horsley Lodge is individual to each couple, filled with magical memories to treasure forever.
Hotel accommodation on site
Our fourteen bedroom hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment. The individually decorated rooms now offer unsurpassed quality, combined with a modern fashionable design, to provide you and your guests with a truly luxurious experience. As room numbers are so limited, we need to know well in advance of your requirements. Where ever possible you can reserve as many rooms as we have available, but note this may not always mean all of them. We can help you find local hotels for any remaining guests.
Your Ceremony
We are fully licensed by Derbyshire County Council to host your civil wedding ceremony. Our function suite is available seven days a week & can hold up to 100 guests for the ceremony.
