Based in Ashbourne, a pretty market town on the edge of the Peak District, BAKE offers a refreshing, modern and creative alternative to the traditional white iced fruit cake. I love to design & create stylish, bespoke wedding cakes that are as delicious on the inside as they are beautiful on the outside.
For wedding cakes, I need as much notice as possible so that together we can create something special. Dates (especially Fridays and Saturdays) get booked up quickly so the sooner we can confirm the date, the better. It would be helpful when making initial contact, if you knew the wedding venue, approximate number of guests, and any colours / themes / styling / floral detail / other inspiration. If you would like to meet up for a no-obligation chat over a coffee, we can arrange this and I can bring along a free taster box so that you can sample my baking. We can talk through sponge & frosting flavours as well as finer design details. Alternatively, if you are not local to Ashbourne, we can communicate via email quite easily. I can then supply you with a full quote, kindly requesting a 20% deposit to confirm the booking (and secure the date) with full payment due at least 2 weeks before the wedding.
As you will see from the gallery of wedding cakes, I specialise in naked / semi-naked / buttercream dressed cakes adorned with fresh flowers and / or fruit rather than traditional fruit cake with royal icing and sugar flower work.
