The Pumping House is a beautiful Grade II listed Nottinghamshire wedding venue, featuring a licensed ceremony room, main hall for wedding breakfasts, accommodation for the wedding party and guests and a woodland setting for outdoor drinks receptions. Late licensed to 1am, this beautiful red brick building, still featuring the original and distinctive chimney, is located on a six-acre site in the heart of Sherwood Forest. The tranquil surroundings provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding and offers ample opportunity for unique photography.
The Pumping House has ample space to meet all your wedding venue needs in one place, all just a short drive from Sheffield, Nottingham, Lincoln and Mansfield.
THE OLLERTON ROOM
The Ollerton Room has beautifully unique parquet flooring and is filled with natural light from the original paned windows, creating the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony against a backdrop of tranquil surroundings. The Ollerton Room is the main room licensed for civil ceremonies with seating for up to 100 guests. The Engine Hall is also licensed for civil ceremonies from 80 to 150 guests.
THE BRIDAL ROOM
As guests arrive and are welcomed to the Ollerton Room, the bride is able to relax and prepare for the ceremony in comfort. This stylish space is complete with a vintage dressing table, chair, sofa and full length mirror. Conveniently situated next door to the Ollerton Room, this room is perfectly located and with space for the bride and all her bridesmaids, the bridal party can use this room to get ready in, or just for finishing touches. Available from 10am, The Bridal Boutique offers the perfect escape for the bride and family throughout the day.
WEDDING RECEPTION
Guests can enjoy a drink and canapes following the ceremony in either, or both, The Conservatory Room and The Oak Room. These rooms are a convenient and versatile space, beautifully themed and have an additional bar area. Both rooms can also be used as a more relaxing area in the evening for those guests who seek a more quieter space.
THE ENGINE HALL
The Engine Hall provides an impressive setting for your wedding breakfast. The unique tiling, stunning arch windows and high glass ceiling create an illuminating space that is perfect for weddings from 50 to 170 guests. The room can accommodate various layouts and can be used as a canvas for different theming and settings. As dusk falls, you and your guests can dance the night away, celebrating this memorable day and bringing The Engine Hall to life!
CINEMA ROOM
Perfect for the younger guests, our cinema and games room is complete with a 60 inch plasma screen and a variety of children’s DVDs and games.
A SPECIALIST, QUALITY AND INTIMATE APPROACH TO CATERING.
Using only the finest ingredients, using locally sourced products when possible, we aim to create delicious, rustic, home-made food. Our catering team understand the importance of every wedding breakfast and we offer a menu where you are free to pick and choose dishes from each suggested menu. Alternatively, we are always happy to discuss and design a bespoke wedding breakfast menu for your day.
